Outreach
The service of South Cheshire CLASP reaches out into the community in a variety of different ways, including:
Crewe Women's Aid - on a Wednesday morning we provide parenting tips, assertiveness and anger management skills, and confidential listening support.
Crewe YMCA - on Monday afternoons we work with young parents or parents to be, as well as those struggling to come to terms with the way in which they were parented themselves. We enable these young people to cope with their anger, and provide assertiveness and parenting tips, and some relaxation techniques.
Children's Centres in Crewe (formally Sure Start) - we provide information sharing and listening support during the first week of the month at these centres based at Pebblebrook School (Monday mornings); Monks Coppenhall School (Wednesday afternoons); Underwood West School (Friday mornings).
Nantwich - our future vision is to include and develop an outreach service which will support single parent families in the Nantwich and rural areas. If you live in this area do contact us as we can offer you support via telephone or email if you cannot get into Crewe on a regular basis.
